Tourist Business Improvement District (TBID)

A Tourist Business Improvement District is a new opportunity for Dawson County to generate additional funds for recruiting visitors and to grow our economy. The number one measurable objective will be to increase county wide hotel demand (total number of rooms occupied annually regardless of total rooms available). Priority target audiences will be city-wide events; regional events; regional sporting events and tourism destination.

Badland BEARs (Business Expansion And Retention) Program

The BEAR program is one in which volunteers work with local businesses, helping them by identifying their needs and concerns, then giving them the tools and connections to grow. If you are interested in being part of the BEAR program please download our brochure, or contact Amy.

Makoshika Estates

Makoshika Estates offers income based housing for seniors 55 and older. This 18 unit complex sits on the outskirts of Makoshika State Park, right beside Sage Brush Senior Center offering the perfect blend of fantastic views and social interaction.
